Topic of the Month: Crowdstrike, BSOD and business continuity: infosec’s role and responsibilities

THEME:
Let’s meet for an informative session where you can ask security experts any questions you have in your mind no mater how basic or advanced that is. Every month we try to have a different topic, and there’s always time to discuss anything important to you as well!

We’ll get the chance to talk and analyze what’s happened/happening with Crowdstrikegate and see the implications for infosec. Try and understand it from all People, Process, Technology perspectives (business continuity and the availability premise that infosec is responsible for, security vendors and in general running 3rd party applications on (critical) endpoints/infrastructure, devops and QA, creating resilient orgs from the people and process side of things etc.)

So bring your thoughts and curiosity along! Viewpoints from all perspectives help get the full picture and understand how we can learn from every (big) mishap, and go back and be better. We’ll also get the chance to talk about some upcoming security conferences CfPs (and deadlines!) coming up soon: OrangeCon 🦁 and Wiccon👻!

SecTalks takes place at the CIC innovation community – and part of the Venture Cafe Rotterdam gathering.
