Security Operations Center Team Lead – SOC Delivery Manager

Have experience with successfully running a busy Security Operations / Cyber Defense or similar team or environment? Ready (and of course finding it challenging and enjoyable!) to contribute to the optimization, improvement and successful service delivery of a SOC team, with global responsibilities and increasing security capabilities?

Role overview:

Join a global team, looking for a new leader, mentor and supporter to help an international organization improve and grow its cyber defense capabilities and effectively monitor, detect, and respond to the daily threats it is facing.

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, with mixed specialties on the analysis, incident response, and active threat hunting, you’ll have the chance to contribute to the team member’s grow and development, the improvement and optimization of processes and cyber activities, aiding to the organizations improvement of overall information security efforts, (in a very interesting threat model environment)!

 Some of the requirements to enable success taking on this role:

• Experience in IT Security and ideally similar Security Operations Center / Cyber Defense teams environments, or other Blue Team type of setups.
• Excellent feeling for people; working and supporting them, mentoring and helping them grow, getting the most out of their potential, utilizing their knowledge, skills and passion(s).
• Good information security understanding and how they different areas collaborate and make the whole stronger (e.g. Security Operations working with Cyber Threat Intelligence, Security Engineering and Red Team).
• Experience with process improvement, and most importantly putting things at work
• Experience working in changing environments and successfully running programs/multiple projects with stakeholders from different teams / organizations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to successfully utilize them for getting things done, improving, reporting, presenting, mentoring, delivering, expectation and stakeholder management.
